I would like to tell you something about us and how we started showing and breeding Boston Terriers.
About 40 years ago we started showing and breeding Collies. We continued to show Collies for 20 years until our children became older and their activities demanded more of our time.During this time we were fortunate enough to meet many friends in the dog world. We continued to keep in contact with some of them. One of our special friends and mentors is the late George C. Miramon of Nomarims Boston Terriers. I had always been fascinated by this wonderful breed, and in 1999 we were fortunate enough to get a Boston from George and what a nice one! We started showing her and she quickly finished. Her name is: Ch. Nomarims Dixieland Delight. Dixie is the foundation of our kennel. She has produced four AKC champions and one more on the way. She has also produced offspring who have International Titles from other countries.
We will always be grateful to George for allowing us to have such a wonderful Boston and mentoring us.
I am a member and President of the Boston Terrier Club of Louisiana, Inc. I am also a member of the Boston Terrier Club of America, Boston Terrier Club of Greater Houston, Show chairman and board member of Northlake Kennel Club of Covington, La. Inc. and La. Kennel Club Inc.
It is our goal to continue to breed and show Bostons with good conformation, sound temperaments and above free of health problems. We do cerf all of our dogs.
